MUMBAI: The soap Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, produced by Rajan Shahi, is all set to take a revamp.
TellyChakkar was the first one to report about Shubham (Gaurav Wadhwa)’s death in the show. Consequently, Naira (Shivangi Joshi) would be blamed for the untimely death. Post this track, the daily soap will soon take a leap of around two-five years.
The set up will move to Mumbai, since Naira will move to Mumbai along with her father Naitik (Vishal Singh). She would also join college to pursue her dream of studying. On the other hand, Naira and Kartik (Mohsin Khan) would be separated.

We've also heard that post leap the show will change its base. The storyline will then focus on the rivalry between the Goenka and the Singhania. Owing to the whole fiasco, their relationship will turn sour. Both the families won't be able to see eye to eye and the hatred would be at the peak.
This will also result in the exit of Naksh (Rishi Dev) and Kiriti (Mohena Singh) from the Singhania house. Since Kirti hails from the Goenka clan, there would be clashes between her and the ladies of the Singhania family. Consequently, the duo will move out of the Singhania family.
