We have always talked about female bonding on sets, but here are two actors who get along like a house on fire. Well, we are talking about Ssumier S Pasricha who plays Shailu, Prem’s elder brother in Sasural Simar Ka on Colors and Manish Rasinghania aka Siddhanth from the same show. Talking about their first meeting, Ssumier tells us, “Manish was getting down the stairs when I entered the set. On seeing me, he extended his hand and wished me. He asked me ‘Are you playing Shailu?’ I always turn to him for any professional or personal advice as he has been in the industry for many years now. I regard him like my elder brother.” So what is it that bonds both of them together? “Love for photography bonds both of us together. On the sets the only time pass we have is to edit pictures,” tells Ssumier. Ssumier regards Manish as his 4 AM friend. “He does not sleep at all and I can bet that if I call him in the wee hours of the morning he will be there for me.” Having said this, Ssumier feels, “Manish is always high on masti. He has a kid in him and I feel like telling him at times, ‘Hello, grow up!’ Before signing off, we could not stop from asking if Ssumier would go on a double date with Manish. “Never, as our girl friends will run away from us, as we both are really crazy insane people (smiles).” Manish and Ssumier, we hope this friendship stays on forever.
