MUMBAI: Star Bharat is all set to go under a revamp next month by bringing a new set of shows which will be family entertaining.

The channel currently airs Rashmi Sharma’s popular mythological show Jag Janani Maa Vaishno Devi - Kahani Mata Rani Ki which is also set to go under a plot change.

Yes, according to sources, the show will now become mythological and social drama. The story will revolve around both Dev lok and Prithvi lok.

The makers are introducing a new family and actors namely Shaily Priya, Adi Irani, Geeta Tyagi and Naveen Pandit have been roped in for the show.

We hear that Shaily will depict a role of Bharti who will get married to Naveen’s character and she would be harassed by her mother-in-law (played by Geeta Tyagi). However, Bharti will be a devout follower of Maa Vaishno Devi. Maa Vaishano Devi will bail her out from problems and bless her.

We couldn’t get through producer Rashmi Sharma for a comment.

The show premiered on September 30 last year and the role of Maa Vaishno Devi is played by Paridhi Sharma. Toral Rasputra, Madirakshi Mundle, Ishita Ganguly, Kapil Arya and many others are also part of the show.
