This is good news for all Sunil Pal fans. The stand-up comedian is all set to direct, produce and act in a movie which will have 54 stand-up comedians. The movie is titled as Bhavnaao Ko Samjho and will have comedians like Raju Srivastava, Khayali, Ahsaan Qureshi and Sunil Pal himself. The movie will be completed by November and it is slated to release in January. Sunil Pal says, “My movie Bhaavnao Ko Samjho is 80 percent complete. It will be a first in the history of Bollywood that 54 stand-up comics would come together in any movie. We will have some popular comedians like Raju Srivastava, Neveen Prabhakar, Ahsaan Qureshi, Khayali, Sudesh Lahiri, Chandan Prabhakar, Aarti Khandpal, Aasha Singh, Seema Motwani and the lead actress of the film is Sangamitra who is essaying the character of Suman.” Talking about the storyline, Sunil said, “This musical comedy film is about a girl who owns a Rs 1000 crore property and all the males in the movie are trying to win her over with their individual charm and style. Who emerges the winner is the suspense and I am sure it would be a big surprise to the audience but the lead actor of the movie is named Shekhar. The music is composed by Dinu and Tinu who belong to a renowned music-gharana in Rajasthan and the singers are Neeraj Sridhar, Sonu Niigam, Shaan. Sunidhi Chuahan, Shreya Ghoshal, Raja Hassan. I too have sung a song. I have also written the story and screenplay of the movie.” Pal is optimistic about the audience response and says, “A stand-up comedian is always connected to the audience as we work hard to bring a smile to their faces so we have a fair idea as to what would amuse them and what can upset them. I have tried my best to bring out a good product for the viewers. There will be no vulgarity in the movie and all age-groups will be able to watch it together.” Sunil Pal who was the winner of the debut season of The Great Indian Laughter Champion has also acted in Priyadarshan’s Phir Hera Pheri alongside Paresh Rawal, Akshay Kumar and Suniel Shetty.
