The cast and crew of SAB TV’s Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, produced by Neela Telefilms have just finished celebrating the feat of completing six years. But the enjoyment and fun is continuing for the Tappu Sena. Recently, the kids on the show shot for a particular sequence at Hamley’s in Mumbai, which happens to be the biggest and largest toy shop for kids. The requirement of the scene had Tappu Sena going to the shop to buy few stationery items for their school such as bag, lunch box, pencil boxes etc. We hear that the Tappu Sena headed by Tappu (Bhavya Gandhi) had great fun while they shot for the sequence. A source states, “The unit of Taarak Mehta shot at the Hamley’s from 8 am in the morning to nearly 2 in the afternoon. Though the team had very less time to shoot their sequences, the kids made sure that they had a whale of a time playing around and having fun.” When contacted, Bhavya Gandhi aka Tappu told Tellychakkar.com said, “Yes, we recently shot at the Hamley’s. It was great fun and we enjoyed a lot. I personally liked a revolver and kept running around with it in typical cow-boy style. There were a lot of balloons in an area, and we had fun playing with them. Also we played quite a lot of Lego games, Bumblebee and even rode on Hot Wheels car.” So what did Bhavya buy for himself when he was shooting at Hamley’s? “Well, we were hard-pressed for time. Having said this, my mother had not accompanied me on the day; so I could not buy anything for myself. But the toys and games out there were marvellous and mind-blowing. We had an out-of-the-world feeling being there.” Tappu also has an advice for young kids. “If you want to shop for yourself, then there is no better place than Hamley’s.
