&TV's Gangaa to take a leap; Vishal Vashishtha to play the male lead

Vishal Vashishtha

&TV’s popular show, Gangaa (Sphere Origins) will take a generation leap in the month of December. And with it, the tremendous run of the child prodigy Ruhana Khanna in the title role of Gangaa will end.

When the show started, the track of Gangaa as a kid was to be shown only for three months. However, with Ruhana and the other kids in the show getting popular, and with the tracks getting appreciated, the channel decided to play on with the younger generation.

Now, the next major development in the show has to happen!! And Gangaa will be shown growing up.

A credible source states, “Gangaa will take a leap in mid-December, and the hunt for the grown-up Gangaa is presently on. The channel and makers are looking for an apt expressive face.”

While the grown-up Gangaa is yet to be finalized, we hear that the boy opposite Gangaa has been finalized.

If the news coming in is to be believed, the boy will be the handsome hunk from Veera, Vishal Vashishtha.

Our source further adds, “Vishal has been more or less locked for the male lead’s role post the leap. However, the final call on this will be taken once the girl playing Gangaa is found.”

We tried our best to get in touch with Vishal, but he did not revert to our calls and messages.

We tried to buzz Producer Sunjoy Wadhwa, but did not get through him. Our efforts to reach the channel spokesperson were also in vain.

We also tried to reach out to Ruhana Khanna’s parents, but they were not available.

We will keep you updated on the new developments in Gangaa.
