The new entrant Ritu Chauhan, who plays the role of Surbhi in Zee TV’s Piyaa Albela, was left teary eyed and upset on the first day of her shoot.

This Rajshri show’s cast is known for sharing a great bond and are also very good at playing pranks.

After Tushar, the latest actor to fall into their trap is Ritu Chauhan.

As per our sources, an excited Ritu was all geared up to meet her co-stars, and to shoot along with them. However, the team was in a fun mood and thought to play a prank with her.

A day prior, the team had decided well in advice not to respond to Ritu’s 'Hi's and bye’s. The moment she entered the set, and smiled at the actors, no one responded. The unit created a fake environment on sets to make her believe that they are very stringent and unwelcoming.

For instance, someone scolded the spot dada for bringing his green tea late (not for real though). Another case was when Ritu was on a phone call, Akshay (pretended to) shouted on sets stating ‘Who is talking on phone and disturbing me’.

Later an upset Ritu had a chat with the production team on the cast behaving rudely with her.

Soon, Avinash Wadhawan went to her room and shared smiling that it was just a prank. On hearing this, Ritu almost started weeping. Finally, the team hugged and welcomed her smilingly.
