MUMBAI: The Kapil Sharma Show was a hit as it premiered and was among the top five shows on the BARC ratings.

With popular Bollywood celebrities coming on board to associate with Kapil to promote their upcoming Bollywood films in the likes of Ranveer Singh, Sonam Kapoor and father Aniil Kapoor, Shatrugan Sinha and many more, the recent guest was Rajkummar Rao who made a surprise entry in the show.

 In a chat with Kapil, Rajkummar shared something about his meet with PM Narendra Modi and that the latter was upset on hearing Kapil’s name. Kapil apologized about the same and mentioned that it is an old issue. On this, Navjot Singh Sidhu teased Kapil that this is what happens when you tweet post 12 pm at night and as witty as we know Kapil is, Kapil engaged in a humourous banter back saying "You also had gone to Pakistan, right?"
