Actress Himani Chawla is extremely delighted to play a one-of-a-kind role for Sony TV’s popular show, CID (Fireworks Productions).
We say, one-of-a-kind, as Himani gets a very ‘rare’ opportunity to sway for a dance number in a show as different as CID.
Says Himani, “Episodes of CID have not had dances and songs, and when I got an author-backed role of an actress, who gets to dance along as the story progressed, I grabbed it up.”
The story will revolve around an actress Niharika (Himani) trying to relaunch herself after many years. However, the moment she would announce her relaunch, she will start to face many hurdles in her path. From getting threatening calls to murder attempts, the lady will face it all. This will be when the CID team will intervene to help her out, and unravel a shocking past story.
Himani will be seen swaying to the popular number ‘Chittiyaan Kalaiyaan’.
