Mohit Malik practises exactly what he preaches, and this got evident when the man tried his level best to fight against injustice for real!! Yes, Mohit who is presently hosting Savdhan India on Life OK, was involved in a brave act recently, when he not only chased down a bus which damaged his car, but also saw to it that the driver and conductor on board the bus realized their mistake. 

Wow!! Daring, must say.. 

It so happened that Mohit was driving along the roads of Goregaon with wife Additie Shirwaiker and another person, on the night of 11 July, when the unexpected happened.

A source tells us, “Mohit’s car was waiting for the clearance at one of the signals when the bus banged into Mohit’s car and sped away. Unfortunately, for Mohit, his car had a few dents, and above all, Additie developed a sprained neck owing the big bang.”

We hear that Mohit collected himself in the very split second, and followed the bus. The chase happened for quite a long time, before Mohit actually stopped the bus and asked the driver and conductor to get down. Though the two of them showed quite a lot of attitude, and denied making any mistake Mohit held them at the place till the cops arrived.                                                                                                   

The brave efforts of Mohit was rewarded when the police officials at the Goregaon Police Station took down his complaint and promised to take further action in the matter. 

When contacted, Mohit told us, “Yes, this is the first time I have ever dared to do such a thing. The moment the bus banged into my car, I got upset. The worst part was that the driver sped away even without realizing his mistake. And when I stopped the bus, he threw a lot of attitude and this was what was very upsetting. Yes, we do mistakes, but it is always better to realize the mistake and pledge not to repeat it. I decided to take the case with the police because I wanted them to realize their mistake. Thankfully, nothing major happened. But this could have happened to anyone, and the result could have been worse. People need to realize and be aware of safe driving. Life is precious, and one needs to respect it.”

Mohit added on, “I am glad that the driver and conductor acknowledged their mistake at the police station and apologized to me. I was not concerned about the dent in my car; I was more concerned about them not understanding the mistake they have committed. I really felt happy when they learnt their mistake. I will like to thank the police officials at Goregaon Police Station for their patient hearing and quick action.”

Way to go, Mohit!! Being brave is a great attribute to possess!!
