Top five shows
MUMBAI: We will bid farewell to 2018 in a few days and welcome the New Year 2019 with open arms.

As 2018 comes to an end, we round up a list of shows that kept us hooked to the TV sets all through the year. From love stories to mythological shows, the year saw many shows that entertained viewers. Here's our list. Take a look.

Colors' Naagin 3: Ekta Kapoor's Naagin is one of the shows that got a great response from the masses for all its sequels. TV czarina Ekta started the trend of the supernatural genre with Naagin and succeeded in it. The show also gave a push to actress Mouni Roy, who played the lead role in the first two seasons. The third installment stars Surbhi Jyoti, and the actress is doing a good job.

Zee TV's Kundali Bhagya: Another show of Ekta Kapoor has been winning hearts and charts. In spite of being the spin-off, it is doing better than Kumkum Bhagya.

Zee TV's Ishq Subhan Allah: We thank the makers of Creative Eye for introducing a show like Ishq Subhan Allah to viewers. The show, which is based on the topic of triple talaq, has been entertaining the masses with its plot and the chemistry of lead couple Zara and Kabir. Keep up the good work, guys.

Star Plus' Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala: This show of Gul Khan has managed to break stereotypes. Child artist Aakriti Sharma, who plays the role of Kullfi, has become a huge sensation. In spite of being the youngest, the actress has floored viewers of all age groups with her acting skills.

Star Bharat's RadhaKrishna: Although it is a recent launch, it is cannot be ignored in the list of top shows. Shows on Radha and Krishna have been narrated many times, but Swastik has given a different feel and look to the show. With elaborate sets and a modern take on the Indian epic tale, the show manages to create a spectacle on the small screen.
