MUMBAI: Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi is a stunt reality TV show that started in 2008 with Aksay Kumar as the host of the first season. The show has been running successfully since 16 years and is soon to be coming back with season 14 where we will get to see Rohit Shetty, who has been the host of the show for season 5 and 6 and then since season 8.

From season 1 to season13, we have seen winners like Nethra Raghuraman, Anushka Manchanda, Shabir Ahluwalia, Aarti Chhabria, Rajneesh Duggal, Aashish Chaudhary, Sidharth Shukla, Shantanu Maheshwari, Punit Pathak, Karishma Tanna, Arjun Bijlani, Tushar Kalia and Dino James. These are not simply names but contestants who fought and won against their fears, performing all their stunts and finally coming out fearless.

In the past, the show was set in various locations like Brazil, Spain Argentina Bulgaria but South Africa seems to be their favorite destination as majority of the seasons have taken place in that country. In an exclusive conversation with Tellychakkar, Shalin Bhanot opened up why he chose to do the show, about his bonding with Abhishek Kumar and much more.

Why Khatron Ke Khiladi season 14?

Replying to this, Shalin first mentioned Rohit Shetty and the stunts being the main reason and later added that this time the season is going to be in a new country, Romania, and it’s going to be a very unique season. Shalin Bhanot also added that while he was still thinking whether he should do the show or not, he met Rashmi Desai who advised him to go on the show as it’ll very fun and that it is her favorite show. Listening to this, Shalin Bhanot wondered what’s really so special about this show and so he decided to enter the season 14.

Abhishek Kumar is also going to be a part of this season and Shalin Bhanot was asked if he will take him as a competition or will his bonding be the same?

To this, Shalin Bhanot replied saying that he is like a younger brother to him and that this competition is not like competition but if people think otherwise then maybe they do not know about the show. Interestingly, he mentioned that there are two types of competition – one which is like Kabaddi wherein you are fighting against others to win and second – like a running race wherein we are all in our respective lines and running to go ahead but competing with ourselves.

Abhishek Kumar and Shalin Bhanot both have a similarity when it comes to their tale of love and Shalin Bhanot was asked if their pain will talked about in the show?

Shalin Banot replied to this by saying that he will have to handle Abhishek Kumar as he can fall in love with someone over there. He also added that he hopes to do the best in the show, enjoy, make new memories and that he will not fall in love with someone over there.
