MUMBAI: One of the much-awaited movies of recent times 14 Phere has finally premiered today, directed by Devanshu Singh 14 Phere stars Vikrant Massey, Kriti Kharbanda in the leading roles along with Gauhar Khan and Jameel Khan.

The story of the movie deals with two lovers Sanjay and Aditi belonging from different castes and want to get married in spite of the fact that both the families would not agree to their marriage, but running away is not the option, they want to get married in the presence of their family with their blessings. And later what they do is something amazing and hilarious to see.

The screenplay of the movie is pretty decent, the movie takes a good start, and manages to grab your attention right from the first scene, and also the direction given by Devanshu Singh is decent enough.

Talking about the performances, Vikrant Massey and Kriti Kharbanda are the souls of the movie, the chemistry between the two is sparkling and you will surely fall in love with these two characters. On the other hand, Gauhar Khan will surprise you with a never seen before Avatar, also Jameel Khan defines his versatility once again with this movie.

Talking about the positive points of the movie, the concept is the highlight, also the message delivered through this movie is beautiful. The performance of every actor in the movie is a treat to watch and can be the USP of the movie. Also, the BGM and music of the movie enhance the viewing experience.

Having said all the positive points the movie has two negative points too, in spite of having a good concept with a great storyline the execution fails somewhere. Few scenes in the movie look unrealistic and not at all convincing. The screenplay of the movie drops a little in between but the great performances delivered by the actors do not let your eyes off from the screen.

Having said all these points overall the movie is a complete family entertainer and can be seen at least one time.

Team TellyChakkar goes with 3/5 stars for 14 Phere.
