MUMBAI: Ae Watan Mere Watan directed by Kannan Iyerhas been in the news for a while. The film stars Sara Ali Khan in the lead role and is based on the true story of an underground radio station owned and operated by a courageous young lady who, in 1942, changed the direction of India's freedom movement. The character of Sara Ali Khan is inspired by the freedom fighter Usha Mehta.

On March 21, the film will be available for streaming on Amazon Prime. The film also stars Sachin Khedekar, Abhay Verma, Alexx O' Neil, Sparsh Shrivastav, and Anand Tiwari in addition to Sara Ali Khan. In the film, Emraan Hashmi will also have a brief cameo.
