MUMBAI : ALTBalaji and ZEE5 is soon bringing a new web-series titled ‘Dr. Donn’. The series is based on the life of Ranjit Don aka Doctor Don. The project is produced by Zeeshan Quadri’s banner Friday 2 Friday Entertainers Pvt Ltd and it is presently in the shooting phase.

The series stars Nakul Roshan Sahdev of Gully Boy fame in the titular role. Actress Shweta Basu Prasad has been paired opposite Nakul in the series. It will also feature actors namely Akshay Dogra and Vikram Kocchar.

According to our sources, makers have roped in actor Ajay Singh Choudhary who was last seen in SAB TV’s Tenali Rama. We hear that Ajay will play a negative role.

Recently, we reported that Ajay Singh Choudhary will also be seen in Voot Select’s upcoming web-series Crackdown. The actor will play the role of a terrorist in the series.
