MUMBAI: ALTBalaji and ZEE5’s Cartel is one of the most awaited web-series. The series has been in the news for a long time now. The project got delayed due to the pandemic. However, the actors now are shooting the remaining portion in Mumbai itself.

Apparently, the series was initially being directed by Pulkit, however due to some difference with Ekta Kapoor, it witnessed change in director and the cast. Cartel is now directed by Suyash Vadhavkar and features Rithvik Dhanjani, Tanuj Virwani, Supriya Pathak, Samir Soni, Monica Dogra, amongst others.

Now, we hear that talented actor Anil George, who is known for his stint in projects Mirzapur, Uri: The Surgical Strike and Mardaani, has been roped in for the series. He will depict Nabeel’s father who will be a gangster.

There was news about Vivek Oberoi and Kubbra Sait also being a part of the series. However, little we have known that both the actors are apparently no more part of the project.
