MUMBAI: Actress Amy Aela is all set to make her OTT debut in Hotstar's upcoming show 'The Kingmakers' by the Adhikari Brothers. The show which has an impressive ensemble cast will feature Amy, acting alongside actor Ashutosh Rana.

Born in Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh - the gorgeous actress is also model, entrepreneur and influencer. Amy is an accomplished marketing professional with a Bachelors Degree in Marketing from Australia - Amy came to Mumbai in 2020 and unexpectantly fell into acting!

Amy gained popularity through her musical videos like High Nakhra (2019), Tu Lagdi Ferrari (2020), Mellow: Dil Kissko Du (2020) and her viral dance & comedy videos on microblogging sites. Talking about her upcoming projects, she said, "I’m excited to be doing my very first OTT appearance! And I am very blessed to, in a short space of time, be given the opportunity to be considered for amazing roles. I am also going to be appearing in SonyLiv's new show 'Cancer Bitch'." She continues, "Being super excited to initiate all these projects and lucky to work with renowned actors.".

When asked how social media has impacted her acting career, Amy says "In this saturated market of immense talent, sometimes you do need to think of innovative ways to be seen. Social media provides you with that opportunity, where you can create any type of content you want to - within your control - to showcase your diverse abilities to people who may not otherwise know who you are. For me, I have also found that making content online, allows me to better understand myself as a performer and what I enjoy doing - in doing so, I am not waiting around for opportunities to come to me, I create them myself'.
