MUMBAI: Coming from the filmmaker who has given movies like Fashion and Page 3, director Madhur Bhandarkar is back with another film titled Babli Bouncer. The movie has finally hit the digital platform Disney Plus Hotstar. Since the trailer came out, fans were anticipating the movie as it was a promising one. Today let us discuss the movie in detail.

The central Character in the movie, Babli, who is played by Tamanna Bhatia. She comes from a village known for its bouncers. Babli is someone whose dreams are very different from many other girls. One big opportunity of becoming a bouncer in a big city, all the challenges she has to face, and how few situations in her life change her life completely, are shown in this movie.

The screenplay of the movie is very weak, and the storytelling is very poor. The movie lacks freshness. Also, the direction given by Madhur Bhandarkar is average.

Talking about the performances, no doubt it is a Tamanna Bhatia show. We can see the effort the actress puts in to deliver the best accent. On the other hand, Saurabh Shukla and Yamini Das are a treat to watch. Sahil Vaid and Abhishek Bajaj are decent on their part.

There are hardly any positive points of the movie, as seen by Tamanna Bhatia's performance. Her accent is the only saving factor of the movie. The concept of a female lady bouncer and the actress Breaking the stereotype is amazing, but the movie fails flat due to the weak execution.

Talking about the negative point of the movie, it has to be the storytelling and the very weak presentation. Madhur Bhandarkar is known for his great direction and movies, but this one is the weakest movie. Many dialogues feel forced, and there are many scenes which look unnecessary and contribute to nothing to the movie. The screenplay of the movie is very weak, and it has many potholes.

Overall, Babli Bouncer is a decent attempt to break the stereotype, but its presentation on the execution is to be blamed.
