MUMBAI: Tellychakkar.com is back with another interesting update from the world of television.
The media has already reported that TVF has rolled out a webseries titled A Suitable Boy starring Tanya Maniktala. The actress has bagged yet another project titled The Girl which will be streamed on Amazon Prime and will be directed by Debaloy Bhattacharya.
Apart from Maniktala, the web series will also have Jisshu Sengupta, Parambrata Chattopadhyay, Vinay Pathak, Zarina Wahab and Samir Soni, in crucial roles.
Well, we now have news that Vishnu Sharma, will also be a part of the show.
Vishnu is well known for his performance in movies such as the Best Exotic Marigold Hotel, Arjun: The Warrior Prince and Apaharan. He has made many appearances in TV series too. Vishnu has done many roles in the movies like Hum Pyaar Tum Hi Se Kr Bathe and Chamku.
According to media reports, The Girl has been touted as a "thriller with a difference."
It marks the second collaboration between Mitra and Bhattacharya. Both of them had worked in Black Friday, the controversial 2004 film, which was written and directed by Anurag Kashyap. While Mitra had produced the crime film, Bhattacharya had edited its promotional videos.
