MUMBAI: A much awaited movie of this year was Varun Dhawan and Sara Ali Khan’s Coolie No.1, the 45th film of director David Dhawan. The project had been the talk of the town ever since it was announced, but later, when the trailer released, netizens were very vocal about their views on the rehashed version of the 1995 Govinda movie. They were not happy with the trailer and said Varun is a good actor, but no one can match Govinda.

Coolie No.1 premiered on 25th December on the occasion of Christmas, and the movie opened to mixed reviews from the critics and was majorly slammed by netizens. The movie failed to match the expectations of fans, and they said that it is disappointing to see a movie like Coolie No.1 (1995) being ruined like this. The movie received the lowest rating on IMDB after Sadak 2 and Indoo ki Jawani.

Earlier, Indoo Ki Jawani starring Kiara Advani and Aditya Seal got a rating of 1.4 and Sadak 2 got 1.1 rating.
