Dial 100 review: This one night thriller serves you thrill but in pieces

Zee5’s Dial 100 finally premiered and here is the full review of the movie

MUMBAI: After creating a strong buzz with the trailer, finally movie Dial 100 is premiered, the movie which deals with the events occurring on a single night stars Manoj Bajpai, Neena Gupta, and Sakshi Tanwar in the leading role. This thriller is directed by Rensil D'Silva. This movie is said not only to be a thriller but an emotional thriller as promised by the makers of the movie, let’s find out, here is the full review of the movie.

Talking about the story of the movie, it is based on a single night where a police officer Nikhil Sood, played by Manoj Bajpai, gets an unknown call in his control room, and how his life completely changes after that call is the entire movie.

The screenplay of the movie is very decent, and manages to grab your attention, the movie takes a good start but the screenplay drops in between, on the other hand the direction given by Rensil D'Silva is decent, the event captured in one night is shown well in the movie.

Talking about the performances of the leads, once again Manoj Bajpai carried this entire movie on his shoulder. It is a treat to watch actor Manoj Bajpai in a completely different avatar, whereas actress Neena Gupta will surely surprise you with her character in the movie, no doubt we won't be wrong in saying that this type of role is never played by the actress Neena Gupta before. On the other hand actress Sakshi Tanwar manages to pull your attention with her character in the movie.


The positive points of the movie can be, concept of single night, we have seen very rare movies based on concept like this, and this will surely excite you watch the movie, also as mentioned earlier the performances of the lead actors is a treat to watch in the movie, performances delivered by Manoj Bajpai, Neena Gupta, and also Sakshi Tanwar is the major saving factor of the movie.

Talking about the negative points of the movie, the screenplay of the movie looks dragged in between, the movie serves you thrill but in pieces, also at few points the movie looks deviated from topic.

Well having said all these negative points, Dial 100 still manages to be in your list to watch this weekend and can be seen once for the leads in the movie.
