MUMBAI : College Romance is one of the most popular rom-com series. The fourth season of the show is all set to premiere on Sony LIV on 14th July 2023. It stars Apoorva Arora, Gagan Arora, Keshav Sadhna, Shreya Mehta, Nupur Nagpal, Manjot Singh, Eklavey Kashyap, and  Jhanvi Rawat.

TellyChakkar recently interacted with Nupur Nagpal and spoke to her about College Romance season 4, college romance in her life and more...

The first three seasons of College Romance had received a very good response and people would expect season 4 to be also good. So, are you excited or nervous about it, and is there any pressure for season 4?

Yes, it’s a blanket yes for the questions that you have asked me. I wasn’t a part of the first season, I joined in the second season. I watched the first season as an audience when I was in college. I absolutely loved it. So, when I got a chance to be a part of it, I was super excited. I had no idea how people were going to respond to my character because there was already a group and I was going to enter it. But, the audiences loved my character, and no matter what work I do I am always asked when College Romance is coming back. This is the farewell season, so there’s a lot riding on it. So, I am nervous and super excited.

How was it to shoot the finale season, and did you get emotional on the last day of the shoot?

During emotional moments, I become very stiff and keep my emotions to myself. So, I thought that’s how this is going to be and I won’t be crying here as well. But, what was happening on the last day was that we were shooting on the outskirts of Delhi, a place where there was a small lake and hills everywhere. It was a night shift and later the sun was rising. What started happening is, people started calling out things like ‘last dialogue for Bagga’, ‘last shot for Naira’; so, when someone keeps saying ‘last’ it’s like puncturing the thought into everybody’s brain and then everybody was getting super emotional  and I also got a little teary eyed. But, the whole shoot on the last day was so beautiful. We all sat together by the lake and saw the sunrise.

Did you have a college romance in real-life and is it still going on?

I went to a girl’s college (laughs). But, I used to do a lot of theatre in college and used to go for a lot of competitions to other colleges during college festivals. So, I did meet someone interesting there and made the college romance part of it happen.
