MUMBAI: Diwakar Dhyani has been winning the hearts of fans with his acting contribution. We have seen some amazing characters of his garnering him a lot of love and appreciation from fans. The actor is getting a good response for his recently released Amazon Prime web series, Panchayat 2. 

In an exclusive interaction with TellyChakkar this is what Diwakar Dhyani had to say on the response he is getting for the show and on what made him say yes for it. 

Diwakar Dhyani on the web series Panchayat 2 

Diwakar Dhyani says that when he became a part of the web series, he did not know that it would be so huge. It was when the show released that he realized it. He received immense love. He is getting a good response from fans for his character. 

Diwakar Dhyani on saying yes for the project 

Diwakar Dhyani said initially, he auditioned for the role of a police officer and journalist also. But he was really looking forward to playing a BDO officer, because he has played a police officer before and the journalist did not have a humorous side. Fortunately, he got that part. The actor always looks forward to playing different characters with different shades.

Diwakar Dhyani on getting typecast 

Diwakar Dhyani says that he never had this fear of getting typecast. He has been looking forward to playing different types of characters, and even if he gets similar characters, he makes sure that he plays them in a different manner. He adds layers to them.
