MUMBAI: Actress Swati Semwal no doubt always looks forward to do something different with her every project. The actress who was seen in amazing projects like Bareilly Ki Barfi, Fanney Khan and others is getting some phenomenal response from the fans for recently released web series Akkad Bakkad Rafu Chakkar.

Team TellyChakkar got an exclusive chance to speak with the actress Swati Semwal with regards to her acting journey where she also spoke in detail about the types of characters she looks forward to play on digital platforms.

Swati Semwal says that coming into the acting world was never the part of plan but it was the year 2007 when she won Miss Uttarakhand and she really wanted to go to Mumbai in search of some amazing projects. The actress left Dehradun and came to Mumbai in the year 2009 and later started doing television commercials. Over the time the actress got some amazing projects and there was no looking back for her.

The actress went candid with us and shared that she had worked in an NGO for a long time which was dealing with drug addict people. The actress says that she really wants to play a drug addict on screen and throw some light on the seriousness of this issue. Having said that, she also looks forward to doing some different types of challenging characters on digital platforms.

Swati Semwal on the most challenging phase of her life

The actress revealed that when she went into direction and writing in the year 2018, the actress had very few acting projects. Swati says that she was getting very few calls of acting projects during that period and the year 2019 was quite a challenge for her. Later the actress had to start everything from scratch. No doubt it was the hard work and dedication of the actress which is now making some loud noise.
