MUMBAI: Vijay Nikam has been winning the hearts of fans over time with his acting contribution. We have seen different types of characters of his creating a strong mark in the hearts and minds of fans. The actor is currently seen in the movie Jalsa, which has Vidya Balan and Shefali Shah in the leading roles.

In an exclusive interaction with TellyChakkar, Vijay Nikam spoke about his movie Jalsa and on working with Vidya Balan after a gap of 10 years. 

Vijay Nikam on the response he is getting for the movie 

No doubt we have seen the actor once again in a completely different character in the movie Jalsa. Vijay says he is overwhelmed with the kind of response he has been getting. He is very happy that the audience understands all small aspects of the storytelling and the movie, which is very important. The movie is getting a good response for its brilliant writing and some great performances. 

Vijay Nikam on working with Vidya Balan 

Vijay Nikam says that he is shooting when the actress Vidya Balan after 10 long years. Earlier, they had shot for the movie Ferrari Ki Sawaari. It was a great experience back then and now to collaborate with one of the finest talents we have in Bollywood. She has delivered one of the best performances of her career in the movie, which fans will definitely love.

Vijay Nikam on the types of characters he looks forward to

He is looking forward to doing different types of characters, but pointing out specifically, he said he has explored comedy in theatre and is looking forward to doing some funny characters in a movie.
