MUMBAI: Actress Mallika Sherawat is all set to be seen in an upcoming web series Naakab which will premiere on MX Player. Ever since the trailer of the series was out the fans were eagerly waiting for the show to see the actress in a never Seen before avatar. The show will also have Esha Gupta and Gautam Rode in the leading role.

Team TellyChakkar got an exclusive chance to speak with the actress Mallika Sherawat with regards to her upcoming web series and her character in the show, and also spoke about amazing insights from the show and her character

MALLIKA SHERAWAT ON HER WEB SERIES NAAQAB AND HER CHARACTER IN THE SHOW

The actress revealed that as we can see from the trailer it is a roller coaster ride of an investigative thriller, she always looks forward to doing something like this and throwing some light on her character. The actress shared that she will be seen playing Zohra who is a twisted character in the show. Zohra is ruthless, she is fearless and she is survival of the fittest. The actress also says that the fans will surely love this character. The actress says that it was the solid storytelling and the script which triggered her doing this project.

MALLIKA SHERAWAT ON THE SHOOTING PROCESS

The actress revealed that it was a fun shooting experience and collaborating with some fabulous bunch of talented people to create something like this. The actress also shares that it was a challenge to learn how to smoke for her role. She is not a smoker in real life but she had to go through a certain type of training to learn how to smoke in style for her character.

The actress revealed that the digital platform is a blessing for everyone. With the movies releasing in theatres the reach of the audience is somewhat limited but on digital platform the reach of the audience is limitless, and she looks forward to do some fabulous work on digital platform
