MUMBAI: Aasif Khan is one of the most loved actors, especially on the digital platform. His performances in projects like Panchayat and Mirzapur were loved by fans. The actor is now all set to be seen in an upcoming Amazon Mini TV web series titled Murder In Agonda.

Aasif Khan says that for the first time in his career, he is playing a cop. The name of his character is Sanket. He is the brother of Sarla, who is a forensic expert. Aasif adds that there are a few layers to his character. He is someone who is very close to his sister and mother. Aasif says that this is not like any other thriller, as it has a flavour of fun and humour.

Aasif Khan says that he always try to draw reference from real life for his characters. To play a cop in this web series, the actor spoke to different crops while researching his character. It was a great learning experience for him.

Aasif Khan says that first he looks at the story, which is very important. Then, he analyzes his character and how different it is from what he has done in previous projects. 

The trailer of the show is already getting an amazing response. The show is all set to premiere on 8 April on Amazon Mini TV.
