MUMBAI: Hemant Kher is no doubt one of the finest actors we have in acting industry. The actor was immensely loved by fans for his web series Scam 1992 The Harshad Mehta story where he was seen playing the character of Ashwin Mehta. 

Team TellyChakkar got an exclusive chance to speak with the actor with regard to his acting journey where the he also spoke about his passion towards acting and his life before coming into the acting business.

Hemant revealed that it has been a great journey as an actor so far, he is not only into acting but also into direction and writing. The actor is very fortunate enough to be the part of some amazing projects, and he is overwhelmed with the response he is getting from the fans specially for the web series Scam 1992. The actor also revealed that he is from Surat and he comes from the farmers family, his mother was a school teacher and he was the first one from his village to be a graduate. He always wanted to make his career in the acting field. The actor always loved to watch movies and revealed that he used to collect the negative of the films from outside the cinema halls and used to show to the people through the torch and white background, he also used to watch movie over VCR on rent. And gradually the actor decided to be the part of acting industry and after joining theatres there was no looking back for the actor.

Hemant Kher on dealing with rejections and downfalls in  life

The actors says that he has always believe that we should never think negative about anyone. Even though the person has not given you the role in a particular project you should not think anything wrong about anyone and you should keep moving in life. We must learn from situation like this and be focused in life in where you have to go.

Hemant Kher on types of characters he looks forward to play  across platforms

The actor says that he is very hungry for good roles across platforms. He will not specifically point out the types of characters he would love to play, but want to explore the life of every character in different projects.
