MUMBAI: Bollywood actress Parul Gulati in this exclusive conversation with TellyChakkar talks about her next web series Illegal 2. She excitedly talked about her character in the web series, her camaraderie with Akshay Oberoi, and roles that she would like to play.
Experience of working with Akshay Oberoi?
This is my third show with Akshay Oberoi. Working with him is always great. He is a little mad. One day, Akshay came to the sets after wrapping up his show Dil Bekaraar. He had not slept for three days and was doing crazy things on the sets of the show. Akshay and I have a different level of camaraderie.

What was her reaction when her character was briefed to her?
She was excited about the character and how it has changed from the first season. She also said that now, she will be more involved with the business in the show. A big conflict arose because of her in the show.
What will you choose between social media influencer, businesswoman, and actor?
There were no doubts in her mind about choosing what she likes the most. She said she likes being an actor. Everything happened because of her being an actor. She also likes the idea of being a businesswoman.
How does she handle hate or negative comments on social media?
The actress said she lashes out her whole day’s frustration by messaging them. She waits for them to read the comments and finally blocks them.
What is that one genre you want to explore?
She said that every day, we are surrounded by different people. I want to play an irritating neighbor, I want to play that annoying maid, and I want to play all those characters that are part of our life. I aim to do different things.
