MUMBAI: Sonal Panwar has been impressing the fans over the time with her amazing acting contribution. The actress was seen in projects like Woh Apna Sa starring Riddhi Dogra, Sudeep Sahir, and Disha Parma in the lead roles. She kept appearing in a few TV shows in smaller and cameo roles. Later, she was offered Ekta Kapoor's Gandi Baat 1 in 2018. The actress is now gearing up for her upcoming web series Candy which will premiere on Voot Select.

Team TellyChakkar got an exclusive chance to speak with the Sonal Panwar with regard to her upcoming web series Candy, her journey as an actress, and the types of characters she looks forward to on digital platforms.

SONAL PANWAR ON HER UPCOMING WEB SERIES CANDY AND ON WORKING WITH RONIT ROY AND RICHA CHADDA 

The actress revealed that she was fortunate enough to work with an amazing bunch of talented people in her upcoming web series Candy which is directed by Ashish Shukla. Throwing some light on her character, revealed she will be seen playing Binnie, the daughter of Ronit Roy’s character. She reveals that she cannot give much about her character as she is playing a very pivotal role. It is because of her character everything in the series takes place, the actress also says that the fans will surely love this thriller series as it is very different from any other thrillers and it has all the elements which will be loved by all. The actress also reveals that Richa Chadda is her acting Idol and sharing screen space with her was a dream. And the entire shooting process was a good memorable learning journey for her.

SONAL PANWAR ON HER JOURNEY 

The actress says that if she was not an actress she would have been a singer. Talking about her journey the actress revealed that she never wanted to be an actress. It was a coincidence that she landed up as actress. She got eliminated from Sa re ga ma pa Lil Champs and later started going to music school. From there, she started doing some plays and was fortunate enough to get some amazing and noticeable work.

SONAL PANWAR ON TYPES OF CHARACTERS LOOK SO WHAT TO DO ON DIGITAL PLATFORM 

Speaking about the digital platform the actress reveals it is a great platform not only for the actors but also for filmmakers. It is a great opportunity for everyone to express their quality work. And she looks forward to doing some amazing characters on digital platforms. The actress reveals that as she is a big follower of Richa Chadda and Taapsee Pannu and looks forward to doing some strong characters like they have done in their career and make her strong mark. She wants to take up strong female characters which have a huge impact in the entire story telling with a social message.
