MUMBAI :Singer Sapna Awasthi’s daughter Kenisha Awasthi is one of the popular names on social media. Well, she is an actress and she has been a part of OTT series like Hasmukh, Raktanchal, Mastram and Good Bad Girl. The actress has also been a part of many music videos.

TellyChakkar recently interacted with Kenisha and spoke to her about the filmmakers and actors she wants to work with, her upcoming projects and more...

When did you decide that you want to become an actor?

Since I was as young as 4 or 5 years old, I've always wanted to be a performing artist like an actor, singer, or dancer.

Do you have a list of filmmakers and actors you wish to work with, and who are they?

I want to work with Tahir Raj Bhasin, Ranveer Singh and Ayushman Khurana. With respect to directors, I would love to work with Amit Sharma, Zoya Akhtar, and Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
 
Tell us something about your upcoming projects.

My show called Homemade Skincare Essentials was launched recently. I have a web film titled The Incomplete Man with Warina Hussain, Sharib Hashmi, and Freddy Daaruwaala. There’s also a fitness based show called Fit Hitz that I am working on and a folk fusion collaboration with my mother Sapna Awasthi singing the track and with me featuring in it as the lead.
