MUMBAI: Actor Alexx O'Nell has been noticed in few movies and has created a mark in the minds of the fans with his different characters. The actor is now all set to be seen in the movie titled Khufiya on Netflix.

During an exclusive interaction with TellyChakkar, actor Alexx O'Nell spoke on his movie Khufiya and also on what made him say yes for the movie.

How will you define your role in the movie?

Alexx O'Nell says, "‘Khufiya’ is many things: a film about love, a story of revenge and a ‘whodunit’, but above all, it is a spy thriller. So it shouldn’t come as too much of a surprise to learn that I play a spy. While Tabu’s Krishna Mehra is doing her part for RAW, my character is fulfilling his duty for the CIA. Throughout the story, an increasing number of individuals get caught up in our struggle against each-other, with dramatic and deadly results… affecting even, and especially, those dearest to us both". 

What made you say yes for this movie?

Alexx O'Nell shared, "As soon as I was approached for the film, I immediately had four very compelling reasons to say yes: 1. Vishal Bhardwaj - one of India’s finest directors who I later find out is phenomenal to work with, is open and willing to consider his actors’ suggestions, making filming a beautifully collaborative experience.  2. Tabu - an acting legend with whom I’ve shared credits in two previous films, Urumi and Cheeni Kum, but until now never shared a scene. Finally, Khufiya offered that chance. 3. Ali Faizal - a fabulous actor who has succeeded domestically and internationally in a way that few others have turned out to be a delightful scene partner. 4. Wamiqa Gabbi - an amazing talent who lights up the screen and is doing such wonderful and varied work.

What according to you can be the highpoints and USP of the movie?

Alexx O'Nell adds, "At the risk of being repetitive, the USP of Khufiya is the team. When you have such a phenomenal group of artists collaborating on a project, you are destined to get something special. Not only do Vishal Ji, Tabu, Ali and Wamiqa choose great stories, but they elevate the telling of these stories with the force of their skill and talent. It was my privilege to be along for the ride, I feel the calibre of their performance made my performance better, and I think the audience will appreciate not just the legendary pairing of Vishal Ji and Tabu, but the synergy of the entirety of this powerful ensemble"
