MUMBAI: Rohit Bose Roy is indeed one of the finest talents we have in the industry. We have seen some amazing characters and movies of the actor getting all the love from the fans. He is now all set to be seen in the upcoming web show Sanak - Ek Junoon, which will premiere on MX Player. 

Team TellyChakkar got an exclusive chance to speak with Rohit Bose Roy with regard to his web series and the character played by him.

Rohit Roy says that this is indeed one of the finest thrillers made. The show deals with things that are actually happening in our society but have never been touched by anyone. The actor also said that when he was briefed about the show and the character for the very first time, he was very scared to play this character as he does not want to fall flat with his performance. But it was the engaging story and the brilliant work of Vikram Bhatt that did not let him say no for the project. His character in the show is that of a small-town guy who comes to the big city to become rich. 

It is indeed one of the most challenging characters in his career of 25 years. Often, he does not require any sort of preparation, but for this character, he required to prepare himself as it has a lot of layering. Indeed, fans will see him in a never seen before avatar. The actor also had to learn the way his character speaks because he is from a small town; he had to learn how he walks. Rohit Roy has changed his tone of voice to match his character.

Rohit Roy on performing bold scenes on screen and his wife's reaction to that 

Rohit Roy reveals that performing bold scenes is the part of work. He is okay performing bold scenes, but it should have relevance in the script. He does not like it just for the sake of attracting the eyeballs. And on the reaction of his wife, the actor reveals that she is an actress and she very well understands the work. When she sees such scenes of his on screen, she sees Rohit as an actor but not as a husband. 

Rohit also reveals that it is the small nuances of the character he would want fans to understand and acknowledge. In a fun quiz section with TellyChakkar, Rohit Roy reveals that he really wished to be the part of some Bollywood movies like Lagaan and Dil Chahta Hai.
