MUMBAI: Piyush Mishra is one such name in showbiz who doesn't need any introduction.

The actor has been impressing viewers with his fine acting chops for several years now. 

The talented actor has managed to create a place for himself in the industry by featuring in some amazing projects in these years. 

Piyush is known for playing some fantastic roles in several movies and web shows that are fondly remembered by viewers even today. 

The Gangs of Wasseypur actor is now gearing up for the release of his upcoming web show Illegal Season 2.

The first season had received a tremendous response from viewers, and now, the cast is gearing up for a rocking second season. 

The series stars Piyush Mishra, Neha Sharma, Tanuj Virwani, Akshay Oberoi, Kubra Sait, and Staydeep Mishra among others in pivotal roles. 

In an exclusive interview with TellyChakkar, Piyush Mishra spilled the beans on his character and much more. 

Views on season 2...

I am pretty excited about Illegal 2. Everyone has done a great job. The star cast is amazing and all is going well. The most important thing is that the script is just fabulous than the first season. We are expecting great results from this season. The shooting experience was just terrific. Ashwin Chaudhary is a very easygoing director. He is an old friend. His way of working is fantastic. This season should be great, I feel. 

Character and what's in store for viewers...

The character is the same that viewers have seen in the previous season. Now, there will be new situations in the story. I just had to blend myself in the new situations. There are new situations in this season. He tries to become a CM. Janardhan is extremely ambitious, wicked, and crooked. He will also put his son's life at stake for his ambition. He wants to achieve everything. Jaitley will become the CM in the season's climax. There is strong rivalry between Janardan and Niharika. It's a completely negative character. 

Experience of working with the new generation...

All of them have been great. They are very ambitious. There weren't so many new-age actors during our times. In today's time, everyone is getting great roles. In fact, amazing roles are being written for these actors. This is a great change that has been seen in the industry. It's amazing to see that the talent of several artists being appreciated and not their looks. Due to this, many new talents are being discovered. 

Our way of working is the same. We all work with the same dedication. But they are more enthusiastic. They all know that if they don't perform well, they will be replaced as there is no dearth of talent in the industry. No one will cast them in future projects. I love all of them. 

Piyush Mishra has previously appeared in movies and web shows like Gangs Of Wasseypur Part 1 and 2, Happy Bhaag Jayegi, Sanju, and JL50.

The actor is quite multi-talented and has also sung and composed songs and worked in several plays over the years.

Piyush is also quite a pro when it comes to writing poems. 

Illegal Season 2 will hit the web on 25th November on Voot Select.
