In an exclusive update, TellyChakkar learnt that Rajesh Khattar shall be a crucial part of Amazon Prime's web series The Girl. The show will mark the directorial debut of Debaloy Bhattacharya. He has directed Bengali films and The Girl is his first Hindi web series.

It was earlier reported that Zarina Wahab, Tania Manitkala, Sameer Soni, Jisshu Sengupta, Vinay Pathak are also a pivotal part of the show.

Veteran producer Arindam Mitra has created and written the thriller. It is set to start shooting in Kolkata. The Girl has been touted as a "thriller with a difference”.
