MUMBAI: Shalini Shah, the National Film Award-winning Filmmaker, has once again come up with something really interesting that will be an eye-opener for a lot of people.

Shalini Shah’s latest project, Samosa & Sons has won the hearts of the audiences with its storyline and the characters. The movie was shot during the time of the Lockdown and was wrapped up in 30 days.

The movie features actors like Sanjay Mishra, Brijendra Kala, Meera Syal, Chandan Bisht, Neeha Garg and Kaushal Shah. While the movie was released just recently, it has garnered a good amount of appreciation from the audience.

Talking about the cast of the audience, in an exclusive conversation with Tellychakkar, Neeha Garg revealed some very interesting things about her experience with the cast, her experience shooting in lockdown and much more.

How was your experience with the cast and was there a memorable moment?

To this, Neeha Garg said that due to the Lockdown, there were limitations because of which there were no particular makeup artists or camerapers and everyone was just helping each other out with no departments divided. Sharing a memorable moment, Neeha said that during her auditions she agreed to know how to ride a bike, thinking that she would get time to practice on the set. However, on reaching the set, she was told that riding the bike was going to be a muharat shot. So she called one of the A.D.s from the film and asked him to bring the bike to her room so that she could practice. So while the shooting was at 12, she was learning to ride a bike from 7 to 10 am and also had to do some stunts on the bike. She added that after the shot was complete everyone was clapping for her.

How was your experience shooting for the movie in Lockdown? What were the difficulties you faced?

To this, Neeha Garg said that it was very difficult and there were times when they had to do make-up in the car and even change clothes in the car. She also added that they had to change clothes in random places where they had to ask the people around to allow them to do so.

Who are your desired actors and directors?

To this, Neeha Garg said that she wants to work with everyone, especially Vishal Bharadwaj, Shoojit Sircar, Imtiaz Ali and Sanjay Leela Bhansali. She also added that being an actor, you should have a good script to work on.
