MUMBAI: After a long wait, Sardar Udham is finally all set for its digital premiere. The movie has been the talk of the town ever since it was announced. And today finally the team has launched the trailer of the movie.

The trailer of Sardar Udham was launched at a press conference held in Mumbai, with the presence of the leading man Vicky Kaushal along with the director Shoojit Sircar with the producer Ronnie Lahiri.

Director Shoojit Sircar revealed that this movie is very special to him for many reasons. The journey of shooting this movie is very personal and he had been researching about the events which occurred in the history since 20 years. He also says that this story is very important to be told, as we all know about the freedom struggle and journey of Bhagat Singh but many of us do not know about Sardar Udham and his sacrifices. This movie is relevant and relatable to the youngsters also and they will surely love it.

On the other hand Vicky Kaushal revealed that his journey of getting into the shoes of Sardar Udham Singh is very emotional. When he got the script and the story for the first time he was shocked to know something like that happened and he was having some sleepless nights thinking that this man has done something like this, which is not known to many of us. The shooting journey of Sardar Udham is very personal for him and as an actor it was a great responsibility on him to play this character on screen. He just surrendered himself to director Shoojit Sircar. The actor also revealed that the movie will have 20 years of journey of Sardar Udham so he has to go through some physical transformation for the movie.

No doubt what we see in the trailer is something commendable, all we can see from the trailer is some amazing story telling with lot of intensity and some great performances.

Sardar Udham is all set for a digital premiere on Amazon Prime video on 16th October 2021.
