MUMBAI: Shashank Mishra has been winning the hearts of the fans over time with his amazing acting contribution, we have seen some amazing characters coming from the side of the actor and getting all the love from the fans. The actor is now currently gearing up for his upcoming web series titled Chidiya Ud for MX Player.

Team TellyChakkar got an exclusive chance to speak with the actor Shashank Mishra with regards to his acting journey where he also spoke in detail about the types of characters he looks forward to doing on digital platforms.

The actor says that he hails from Lucknow, and since childhood, he was into watching movies and television shows, when he was a child he just loved the television serial Shaktimaan. His father was a police officer and he was completely against the decision to come into the acting world. But it was the love and support of his mother because of whom the actor could have chased his dream to become an actor. In the year 2013, the actor came to Mumbai and right from his debut project there was no looking back for him.

Talking about digital platforms, the actor said that it is indeed one of the beautiful platforms which is giving many opportunities not only to the actors but to directors also, the actor is hungry for good characters and good stories to play on digital platforms. The actor says that he is really looking forward to playing a negative character on a digital platform. He is very impressed by what actor Vijay Verma did in the web series She which premiered on Netflix.

Shashank Mishra on his acting inspiration

Talking about his acting inspiration, Shashank Mishra says that it has to be late Irfan Khan, he has grown up watching Irrfan Khan's movies and the kind of cinema the actor was doing was amazing. The actor also says that he just loves the approach and the personality of superstar Shahrukh Khan.
