MUMBAI: The mark of a real actor is seen when they go to great lengths to get into the skin of the character. We’ve often seen actors locking themselves up for days to learn their dialogues, grow their hair or change their personality completely. And if your character is a bit on the heavy or thin side, one might just have to gain or lose weight accordingly. With audiences enjoying the character of Soggy in ALTBalaji and ZEE5’s recent show ‘Who’s Your Daddy?’, not many know what the famous Youtuber Harsh Beniwal had to go through. Dedicating himself to the cause, the young actor prepared himself to eat all kinds of junk and sweet dishes as he had to gain weight and ace the look of his character. Now, that’s some commitment towards the role and food.

Speaking about preparing for the role, Harsh shares, “It looks very easy but it is extremely difficult to gain so much weight in such less time. I ate only junk food and sweets during the weight-gaining period. At the start, I did enjoy eating all that delicious food, but it became boring after a point to eat so much. I work out daily so it did take a lot of effort to get that look and maintain it. Entertaining my fans and audience has always been my priority so all of this was just for them. I hope they are loving my character and enjoying the series.”

‘Who’s Your Daddy?’ showcases the story of how Soggy’s father becomes an overnight star with the lady patrons of the DVD world and how the duo runs a successful business until their world turns upside down. Amidst this entire chaos, nobody seems to find the answer to one question - ‘Soggy Ke Bete Tidda Ka Daddy Kaun Hai?’
