One thing’s for sure, Paatal Lok seems much more than the standard cop vs. gangster series that has been done to death. We won’t be surprised that come May 15, you’ll start questioning everything that you held sacred. 

REJCTX 2 

It’s just a little less than a week for viewers to once again find themselves enthralled by the twists and turns in REJCTX2. Come May 14, get set to witness a show-based on a couple of high-school students who seem to indulge in much more than their studies. With the first season delving into the dark secrets of these teenagers, the second season is set to amplify the suspense quotient and how. Get ready for a host of twists and turns as an officer is ready to go to any length to find out the truth and unveil the façade exposing these kids for what they are. 

Illegal 

Don’t we simply love courtroom dramas for the sheer reason that the build-up in the trial never fails to captivate us. If you were badly looking for a show on the judicial system, well Voot Select is all set to deliver justice this May 12 with Illegal. Set in the influential corridors of Delhi, we’ll see the abundance of thrill watching the lengths lawyers go to in order to find justice in a not-so-perfect system. Just like the high-profile case in the show, here’s a series that will require you to maintain law and order in order to get to the bottom of who’s right and who’s wrong.  

She 

Firstly, it’s great seeing a woman cop take charge and own her role like an absolute boss. That’s one of the many things we loved about this Netflix series. With the city of Mumbai adding to the show’s mystery, what really sees the viewer fall in love with the show is its sleek pace and brilliant dialogues that keep you hooked throughout. Here’s a show with such a gripping and unpredictable plot, that it makes you wonder if you knew everything about the police force and the mafia. Right from the very first scene, you’ll want to be part of the show going on to the very end only to face an ending you certainly did not expect. 

Mirzapur 

Ever seen a show that was so path-breaking that it’s made the launch of its sequel the most-anticipated event of the year? Well, that’s Mirzapur for you. A one of the major reasons for Munna Tripathi, Kaleen Bhaiyya’s growing fandom is the sheer thrill factor that grips you and takes you on a roller coaster ride full of ups and downs. Along with the rustic appeal, dark humour and dialogues of the Amazon Prime Video original that add to the show’s thrill, it’s the well-layered character traits of these gangsters operating a drug cartel that builds intrigue with every passing second. It’s a power-packed performance by the entire ensemble cast that shows how the mafia will stop at nothing in their quest for power, money and fame and one that you certainly can’t afford to miss.
