MUMBAI: After making everyone laugh with her histrionics over the years in films like Pyaar ka Punchnaama franchise, Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, Dream Girl and Chhalaang, Nushrratt Bharuccha is all set to scare the audience away with her latest offering Chhorii.

Today, on Tuesday, Nushrratt shared the teaser of the horror flick starring her in the lead. Taking to her Instagram account, the actress wrote, “Nightmares will come true #Chhorii is coming. Don't say we didn't warn you. Teaser Out Now! #ChhoriiOnPrime, Nov 26.”
The teaser follows Nushrratt as a pregnant woman who is taken to an abandoned and secluded house in the middle of a field and the supernatural occurrences that follow with her arrival. There are some kids running around, which Nushrratt’s character is seen confused in judging if it’s reality or her hallucinations. It brings out some chilling scenes and sequences creating an eerie environment, promising a spooky ride to the audience.
The teaser has received appreciation from the industry as well with Jacqueline Fernandez commenting on Nushrratt’s post, “Love.” Her Pyaar ka Punchnama co-star Ishita Raj also commented, “Spine chilling! Nush all the best.” Even the audience seems impressed by the teaser going by the comments on Nushrratt’s post.
Releasing as an Amazon Prime Video Original on November 26, Chhorii is the official remake of the 2017 Marathi film, Lapachhapi. Apart from Nushrratt, the film also features Mita Vashisht, Rajesh Jais and Saurabh Goyal in supporting roles. The director of the original Marathi film, Vishal Furia, is also helming the Hindi version that is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Vikram Malhotra, Jack Davis, Shikhaa Sharma and Shiv Chanana under T-Series, Crypt TV and Abundantia Entertainment.
