MUMBAI: Actor Manoj Bajpayee is currently basking in the popularity of his most recent web series, Killer Soup, in which Konkona Sensharma also stars. The actor's performance in the musical has won him praise from both the crowd and reviewers. Yet he had to provide an apology to a fan who wasn't happy with the show.

On Thursday, the star shared an audio message he got from a fan on his official Instagram account. The disappointed female fan could be heard on the audio clip saying that she had thought the actor would show off his soup-making skills in the show.

The fan could be heard saying, "Manoj ji mujhe aapki nayi web series Killer Soup bahot acchi lagi. Lekin aap se ek shikayat hai. Maine pure 8 episodes dekh liye lekin aap ne kahi bhi soup banana nahi sikhaya. Mera 655 rupaye ka nuksaan ho gaya kyuki maine toh soup banane ke liye sabzi aur masale khareed liye the. Iss nuksaan ki bharpayi kaun karega? (Manoj ji, I really liked your new web series "Killer Soup." However, I have one complaint. I watched all 8 episodes, but you didn't teach how to make soup anywhere. I incurred a loss of 655 rupees because I bought vegetables and spices to make soup. Who will compensate for this loss?)"

Manoj commented in response to the fan, "Aapke 655 rupaye ke nuksaan ke liye maafi chahta hu." "Adha adha share kare?" he said, tagging his co-star Konkona, and included a laughing smiley.

However, after a series of mishaps and hasty cover-ups, one tragedy puts her and her lover Umesh (Manoj Bajpayee) in hot water. Manoj has two roles in the production. Key parts are also played by Nasser, Sayaji Shinde, Lal, Anbuthasan, Anula Navlekar, and Kani Kusruti.
