MUMBAI: After Amar Singh Chamkila, Imtiaz Ali is all set for his next project, ‘O Saathi Re’. Imtiaz Ali reunites with Netflix for this one. Amar Singh Chamkila starred Diljit Dosanjh and Parineeti Chopra. The story was based on the famous Punjabi singer Amar Singh Chamkila who was known for his controversial lyrics.
Now, Imtiaz Ali will be back with O Saathi Re, a movie that will star Avinash Tiwary, Aditi Rao Hydari and Arjun Rampal. As per reports, the shooting for the movie will begin soon. The movie will be directed by Arif Ali and the story will be an ode to vintage love. Netflix posted the first look of this upcoming series and it surely looks promising. Arjun Rampal was last seen in the 2024 movie Crakk starring Vidyut Jamwala and Nora Fatehi. On the other hand, Aditi Rao Hydari was last seen in the Sanjay Leela Bhansali debut series Heeramandi. Avinash Tiwary has been impressing the audiences, turning them all into his fans. The actor was loved in Laila Majnu and after a successful re-release of the movie, audiences got to see his true potential. In his latest movie ‘The Mehta Boys’, Avinash Tiwary showed a lot of depth in his performance which touched everyone’s heart.
It’ll be interesting to see what magic the team of O Saathi Re creates.
