As the title suggested the movie is inspired from the real viral incident where ‘Sonam Gupta Bewafa Hai’ was written on currency note. This Romance Comedy Stars Jassi Gill along with Surbhi Jyoti which also has some amazing talented cast like late Surekha Sikri, Vijay Raaz, Kaviraj Laique, Brijendra Kala and Atul Shrivastava and is directed by Ssaurabh Tyagi.

Talking about the storyline of the movie it is like any other love story. Sintu played by Jassie Gill falls in love with Sonam Gupta played by Surbhi Jyoti. But Sonam Gupta has some other plans in her life which triggers Sintu into some action from where their life changes completely.

The screenplay of the movie is strictly average, also the direction given by Saurabh Tyagi is also very decent.

The positive point of the movie can be the concept and the idea which is the background of the movie. The viral incident of Sonam Gupta will surely grab the attention and interest throughout the movie. Also the performances delivered by every actor in the movie is a treat to watch. The dialogues are good in the movie, and few of them will surely make you laugh.

Talking about the negative points of the movie, it is mainly the execution which is lacking. The makers had a great idea but their execution is properly done. The screenplay of the movie becomes loose in between and your interest may drop in between many time. Also the songs of the movie looks forceful many times and were not required.

Well having sad all these points, this movie Kya Meri Sonam Gupta Bewafa Hai is strictly average movie and can be seen only for good performances.
