MUMBAI: Ever since the trailer of the movie was out the fans were eagerly looking forward to see the actress Madhuri Dixit in a different avatar on the digital screen and no doubt the trailer had all the elements which were required for a complete family entertainer. 

Talking about the cast of the movie it comprises talents like Madhuri Dixit, Gajraj Rao, Ritwik Bhowmik, Barkha Singh, Srishti Shrivastava, Sheeba Chaddha, Rajit Kapur, Simone Singh and is directed by Anand Tiwari. Finally the movie is with the digital platform Amazon Prime Video.

The story revolves around Pallavi, played by Madhuri Dixit who is a housewife in the Patel family. No doubt every family has their problems and secrets so does the Patel family. They have their own set of problems and secrets and how Pallavi deals with them and what sort of difficulty she has to go through to make sure everything goes right not only in her life but also in her children's life, is something amazingly shown in the movie.

Talking about the screenplay of the movie, it is beautifully written and it definitely grabs your attention till the last scene and keeps you hooked and booked and keeps your eyes glued to the screen. Direction given by Anand Tiwari is beautiful and indeed it is a subject which is relevant and important for the time.

Madhuri Dixit and Gajaraj Rao excel when it comes to performances, no doubt it is an out and out Madhuri Dixit show and we are going to see the actress in a never seen before avatar in this movie. On the other hand, actor Gajraj Rao definitely makes us smile and laugh whenever he has appeared on screen and we won’t be wrong in saying that this is one of the best roles played by the actor. 

On the other hand, actor Ritwik Bhowmik impresses with his part in the movie. Actress Srishti Srivastava who was in playing sister to Ritwik Bhowmik definitely impresses you in some scenes and on the other hand Barkha Singh as the NRI love interest of Ritwik, definitely wins your heart with her beautiful looks and acting. Also, Rajit Kapoor as the NRI father gives a powerful performance and the same can be said for Sheeba Chadda.

Talking about the positive part of the movie, it has to be the execution which is done beautifully, it is how the simple story of Patel family is beautifully presented, also the writing which is very strong and will definitely keep your eyes glued to the screen. 

Also, the positive point has to be the performance is delivered by every actor present in the movie specially Madhuri Dixit and Gajraj Rao. The highlight of the movie is the climax which nothing can be revealed here but no doubt it will leave you with a sweet smile on your face. The subject which is shown in the movie is the much needed time and message delivered is beautiful. Special mention to the BGM of the movie along with dance and expression given by actress Madhuri Dixit which definitely goes with the flow of the movie and enhances your movie viewing experience.

Talking about the negative point of the movie, there are few scenes in the movie which were not required and look forced. The dialogues could have been more powerful and lack the impact and power in certain places.

Having said all these points no doubt Maja Ma is one complete family entertainer and this can be on your list for binge watch over the weekend.
