Neha tags Anu Malik a 'predator'

Neha had blamed music composer Anu Malik of sexual harassment. “We do live in a very sexist world. Anu Malik is a predator, i too have run away from his strange moves when i was 21. I didn’t let myself get into a sticky situation beyond him lying on a sofa in front of me talking about my eyes in a studio. I fled lying my mums waiting below. He even msgd and called me after that to which i stopped responding. The point is i went to give him my cd and hope for a chance at a song. He was older and shouldnt have behaved the way he did. @The_AnuMalik is an ugly pervert,” she mentioned it in a series of tweets in 2019.

Neha explains her side of the story

Neha felt it was time for her to open up about the same issue before it too late when Anu Malik returned as a judge on the singing reality show, Indian Idol. She took to her Twitter page and mentioned, “I am not friends with Sona or anything like that. I knew all this was happening last year, but I had to deal with some other, more personal issues in my life and that’s why I never became a part of it.”

She further then slammed Anu Malik a pervert and threw several questions on the makers of the show. She then quoted “Everyone knows he (Anu Malik) is a pervert. And when he stepped down last year, what is the need to get him back as a judge? Why are we validating this behaviour?” says Bhasin.

Neha told that she was sexually abused when she was young." I was 10 years old. I was in Haridwar, one of the religious places in India. My mother was standing a few feet away from me. Suddenly, a guy came and poked his finger inside my a**. I was shocked. I just ran away. Then, a few years later, a man grabbed my breasts in a hall. I clearly remember these incidents. I used to think that it`s my fault. Now, people have come on social media and have started abusing others -- mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually -- there. I consider it faceless terrorism" Neha said.

Talking about professional Neha is known for her playback work in Bollywood, Tollywood, Kollywood, and independent songs. She made her acting debut starring in the film Life Ki Toh Lag Gayi. Neha is happily married to Sameer Uddin, a music composer.
