MUMBAI: Indian Matching Making is one of the most popular shows on Netflix. The series’ host Seema Taparia finds suitable matches for Indian brides and bridegrooms from US, UK, and India. So far she has managed to get many young/old men and women their life partners. The recent incident however has shocked many.

Pradhyuman Maloo who has been looking for a bride for  a long time found his match in Ashima Chauhaan and the two tied the knot in February 2022 in a grand wedding ceremony in one of the episodes. Sadly in September, Ashima left Pradhyuman’s home alleging domestic abuse by him.

An FIR has been lodged against him and when questioned about it, Pradhyuman told a news portal, “I don’t know about it. To the best of my knowledge we are in settlement talks with lawyers to resolve our marital issues.”

Ashima’s lawyer Anmol Bartaria said, “The allegations with FIR lodged are grave and concerning, with domestic violence and constant mental, physical abuse at its core. The matter is in the investigative stage and should be carried out in full swing. Ashima is in the process of taking appropriate legal proceedings against the accused in accordance with the law.”

Ashima is an actress and model and has featured in shows like MTV Love School and Ace of Space.
