MUMBAI: Manasvi Vashist, who is currently seen in "Ishq Mein Marjawan 2" streaming on a digital platform, believes OTT medium is soon gaining traction of audience.
Produced by Beyond Dreams, the show which revolves around the theme of love, sacrifice, revenge follows the story of Riddhima (Helly Shah), who is on a mission by her partner Kabir Sharma (Vishal Vashishtha) to nab Vansh Rai Singhania (Rrahul Sudhir). The romantic thriller show first aired on Colors TV from 2020 and is currently streaming on Voot Select from March 15. “The show has been a hit and is still one of the most popular shows in the country. The show has connected well with the audience and the credit goes to the makers and the entire cast and crew. Let's see how things unfold as the show goes digital,” he says. “Ishq Mein Marjawan”, which enjoyed a successful run on television headed to Voot Select after going off-air on TV.

Manasvi says it is a decision taken by the channel and he is looking forward to see how it all pans out. “I am looking forward to the change. This is the Channel's call and I am sure that's for the better,” he adds.
The actor is hopeful OTT platform will attain more popularity in the coming days. “OTT platforms are gaining audience and I am sure that the numbers will only increase from here,” he adds. Manasvi, who essays the role of Aryan Rai Singhania in the show, says the character is now even more rebellious than ever and that there isn’t much similarity between him and his character of Aryan. “Aryan and I are quite alike when it comes to style. We're pretty opposite with respect to pretty much everything else,” he shares. The actor says working with noted producers Yash and Mamta Patnaik on the show has been a delight and that they are family.
