MUMBAI :  Taapsee Pannu is undoubtedly one of the most loved actresses in the Bollywood industry. This year has been great for the actress in terms of the number of movies, and her latest release in the year 2022, titled Blurr, has finally hit the digital platform Zee5.

The movie Blurr has been the talk of the town, ever since the trailer was out. It is said to be a remake of the movie, Julia Eyes. Talking about the premise of the movie, it deals with twin sisters, Gautami and Gayatri, both played by Taapsee Pannu. One fine day, Gautami goes missing, and Gayatri is on the search to find out what has happened to her sister. Is this a suicide? or a very well-planned murder. You will come to know in this thriller ride.

Talking about the screenplay of the movie, it struggles very hard to grab your attention and it treats you with thrills, but in pieces. Also, the direction given by Ajay Bahl is very weak.

Talking about the performance, there are many memes that were made on social media saying that actress Taapsee Pannu is very similar in all her recent movies. This is the perfect example, there is nothing new that the actress has to offer. On the other hand, we get to see Gulshan Devaiah very less on screen, and this is the major drawback of the movie. On the other hand, actor Abhilash Thapliyal will surprise you with his amazing acting; unfortunately, he is the only saving factor of the movie.

Talking about the positive points of the movie, the subject of the movie is fresh and new, but was badly treated by the makers. Also as mentioned earlier, the performance coming from the side of the actor Abhilash Thapliyal will surprise you, and he is the only good thing in the movie. There are hardly any jump scare scenes that will excite you.

Talking about the negative points of the movie, it has to be the direction and the screenplay that was badly executed. The writing of the movie is very weak, and the movie literally struggles to grab your attention and fails miserably. There are many scenes that will definitely make you feel bored, and as mentioned earlier, actor Gulshan Devaiah was less seen throughout the movie, even though he is indeed one of the finest actors. These are the major drawbacks of the movie.

Having said all these points, this thriller can be missed, but if you are a thriller fan, there’s no harm in giving it a try.
