MUMBAI: Vaarun Bhagat is known for giving some good performances on the digital platform. The actor is currently enjoying the love coming his way after the success of his recently released web series Undekhi 2.

Team TellyChakkar got an exclusive chance to interact with the actor where he spoke about the character is looking forward to playing on OTT,  the films he would love to be a part of, and whether he is the biggest critic of his own work.

What kind of character you are looking forward to playing on OTT?

Right now, I have been shooting for two web series. They both are very different and unique stories. I am very fortunate to be working in them. In the beginning, you don't choose the projects. I have been a working actor, and I am here to work. So I think that I am getting good parts. What attracted me to these project are the stories.    

What kind of genres are you looking forward to being a part of?

I love to do a period film. I haven't done a period film till now. I would love to experience that. Moreover, I would like to do all kinds of films, but the story should be strong. There is also romance, which is written beautifully. I also like comedy if it is written well. I like all genres, but the writing has to be perfect. That's what I am searching for. OTT is the future because people like us are getting an opportunity to do something. And the audiences are so smart right now that if you are not good at your job, then they will not watch you. So, we have to get our work at the best level we can.

Are you the biggest critic of your own work?

Absolutely, I don't watch my work. I am extremely critical of my work. I don't like watching myself on screen. I don't watch my own stuff. I watch it while shooting the scene on the camera monitor or getting the right emotions out of me. But once the film is completed, it is very difficult for me to watch my own self.
